VOTE SANSA STARK FOR FANDOM MARCH MADNESS.

Okay, I know the decision is hard. It’s Donna vs Sansa. Donna, the most important woman in the universe. Donna who doesn’t remember, but we all remember her. Donna who is a human being, and she matters, and she won’t shup up, and she stopped the Doctor because he needed it. We all love Donna. I’ve seen so many people supporting her, my heart explodes every time because she deserves it so much. She’s strong and smart and brave and normal, which is the best thing. She was a normal person. She didn’t become important. Because she already was. Because all people are important.

Before you ask me “Are you making a campaign for Donna?” let me continue:

Like I said, I’ve seen nothing but love for Donna. Sure, she has haters, but every character does. There’s never a character that is completely loved or hated. But for Donna I’ve seen mostly love. Which is perfect and amazing.

My campaign for Sansa isn’t based on the fact that she’s better than Donna. No character here is better than the other. They’re different people, different age, living in different worlds, dealing with different problems in different ways. What do they have in common besides the fact that they’re both redheads? That they’re both strong. That they’re both wonderful ladies fighting -and winning- their fights. Donna helps. Sansa survives, waits and plans. They have different motivations and they have been through completely different circumstances.

Both are incredible. Both deserve to win. But only one can.

Why should you vote for Sansa? Simply because she deserves the support. Like I already said twice, Donna has been showered in love everywhere, rightfully deserved. But Sansa, even though she’s clearly loved by her fans, gets so much hate it’s unbelievable. People want her to get raped. People want her to get killed. Or tortured. Or worse. Sansa has been through so much shit, not only in the actual books but also in real life, in her own fandom. Her own fandom shows an awfully big amount of hate towards her, even though -let’s not kid ourselves- if we were a character in the book, we’d all probably be her. And not do it half as good as she does.

Now it’s out time to change that. We can win this, if we vote. It’s not impossible, we’re just about 100 votes behind, if not less. 

Vote for Sansa to give her the support she doesn’t get in her own fandom. Vote for Sansa because Donna would want her to be just as appreciated as she is. 

(Guys, please do remember that to vote, you need a livejournal that was created before March 5th. Do not vote with fake accounts, do not create accounts to vote for her, because those votes will not help in the final count. Let’s try to win this fairly!)
